Bordeaux 938 is a deep, muted red with a wine-like tone – dark enough for everyday clothes and still full of colour. As a solid shade it stays calm and lets seams, pockets and button plackets show clearly.
The Eike sweatshirt fabric is brushed on the inside, which makes it feel soft and warm. At 245 gsm it has plenty of body, falls in soft rounded folds and carries hoods or cuffed hems without creasing. The 5% elastane adds comfortable crosswise stretch, so necklines and sleeves give when you pull the garment on and settle back into shape.
The 155 cm width leaves room for larger pattern pieces. The fabric is certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

Should I pre-wash the fabric?
We recommend it: residual shrinkage is 5%, so the fabric can still shrink in the first wash. Wash it at 30 °C before cutting your pieces.
How do I care for it?
Machine wash at 30 °C, do not bleach, do not tumble dry. Iron on a low setting. This keeps the brushed inner face soft and fluffy for longer.
