Cut the strip crosswise to the selvedge, where the stretch runs, then fold it lengthwise along the crease. Rule of thumb: neckbands about two thirds to three quarters of the neckline, sleeve or hem bands slightly shorter than the circumference.
How does the melange look appear?
The melange comes of finely blended fibres, giving ribbing a lively, subtly speckled depth. It suits mottled sweat fabrics particularly well, letting edges appear less flat than plain solid ribbing would.
