How stretchy is this jersey?
Thanks to the 5% elastane content, the fabric stretches noticeably, especially widthwise. This makes it suitable for close-fitting patterns like leggings or bodysuits where freedom of movement matters.
Anything to know about washing it?
The fabric can be washed at 30°C and should not be bleached. Tumble drying should be avoided, as stated in the care instructions.
Does the fabric shrink after washing?
Residual shrinkage is 5%. It is therefore recommended to pre-wash the fabric before cutting so the finished garment keeps its intended size.
Does the fabric match ribbing or sweatshirt fabric in color?
Yes, under the same colour code 1598 there is the Heike ribbing and the Maike French Terry, so shirts can be combined with ribbing or jackets without any colour difference.
