Grey 183 is a calm, neutral shade of grey without a blue or brown cast, which makes it easy to combine with almost any other colour. As a plain jersey it shows no pattern at all, relying instead on the smooth, slightly sheeny surface of the knit.
At 220 g/m² the fabric feels medium-weight in the hand. It sits softly against the body without feeling thin or see-through, making it opaque enough for dresses yet still soft enough for baby bodies. The 5 percent elastane content gives the typical jersey stretch in both width and length, without the fabric losing its shape.
The drape is soft and flowing, the jersey falls into gentle folds rather than standing stiffly away from the body. Thanks to the high cotton content of 95 percent, it feels pleasant and breathable against the skin.
