Because the motifs sit on the tape, the trim adds more bulk than a flat decorative band. Bear that in mind where it lies against the skin – at a hem or on a band it causes no trouble.

To attach it, stitch along both sides of the tape without hitting the motifs. Where space is tight, a zipper foot helps, as it passes closer to raised areas.

Wash gently. Applied flowers and bows can work loose under heavy friction; a laundry bag protects the finished piece.
