Flieder 641 is a soft purple with a touch of grey in it – light enough to feel friendly, calm enough for clothes you reach for every day. In daylight the shade looks delicate, under artificial light a little cooler, and it stays clear rather than loud.
The jersey has a smooth knitted face and feels dry and pleasant on the skin thanks to its 95% cotton content. The 5% elastane gives it recovery, so knees and elbows settle back into shape after wear. At 220 g/m² it sits in the medium-weight range: opaque enough for dresses, still soft enough for bodysuits and tees. The drape is soft and follows the body without clinging.
The fabric is certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

At 220 g/m² Vanessa is a medium-weight jersey and usually opaque enough for dresses. With light shades such as Flieder 641 it is still worth holding the fabric against the light before cutting.
How much does the fabric shrink in the wash?
Residual shrinkage is 5%. Wash the fabric once before cutting, using the same programme you plan to use for the finished garment, and the fit will stay reliable afterwards.
How should the fabric be cared for?
Wash at 30 °C, iron on a low setting, do not bleach and do not tumble dry. Following this keeps the colour and the elasticity in good shape over many washes.
How stretchy is the jersey?
With 5% elastane the jersey stretches mainly across the width and recovers well. That is enough for close-fitting tees, leggings and cuffed areas on children's clothing.
