Dark Green 564 is a deep, muted green with a calm character – think fir needles in the shade. Even across larger pieces it stays understated, and as a plain colour it lets seam lines, panelling and embroidery show clearly.
Made from 94 % cotton and 6 % elastane, the jersey feels soft and smooth with the slightly cool touch that cotton brings. At 220 gsm it sits in the medium-weight range: firm enough to hang evenly and stay opaque, yet stretchy, with a soft, gently flowing drape rather than stiff body.
The 155 cm width gives you room when cutting out, and Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification is welcome for garments worn next to the skin. Residual shrinkage is 5 %.

Is this jersey opaque enough for a dress?
Yes. At 220 gsm Vanessa is a medium-weight jersey that does not show through as a dress or shirt. In Dark Green 564 the deep shade helps further, even over light-coloured underwear.
How much does the fabric stretch?
With 6 % elastane alongside 94 % cotton the jersey stretches well and springs back into shape. The greater stretch runs across the width, which matters for cuff areas and for leggings.
Will it shrink in the wash?
Residual shrinkage is 5 %, so pre-wash the fabric before cutting. Wash at 30 °C, iron on a low setting, do not bleach and do not tumble dry.
Does Dark Green 564 match other Swafing ranges?
Yes. The Vanessa colour palette runs colour-matched with Maike (French terry) and Eike (brushed sweat): same colour code, same shade. Shirt and jacket therefore show no visible difference in tone.
