The jersey feels soft and smooth in the hand. At 220 gsm it sits in the medium-weight range: it drapes close to the body instead of standing away, and stays opaque across plain areas. The 5% elastane gives stretch across the width that springs back after wear, so knees and elbows hold their shape longer.
The 155 cm width leaves room for larger pattern pieces. The fabric is 95% cotton, certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and washable at 30 °C.

How much does the fabric shrink?
Residual shrinkage is 5%. The fabric can pull in by up to 5% in the first wash, after which the measurements stay stable as long as you keep to the same care routine.
How do I care for this fabric?
Wash at 30 °C, iron on a low setting, do not bleach and do not tumble dry. This keeps the colour and the recovery of the 5% elastane intact over many wash cycles.
