Description
This faux leather does not fray and needs no finishing; needle holes, however, stay visible. Weight per square metre comes to 295 g/m², width to 140 cm. It is woven from 40 % polyester, 4 % polyurethane and 56 % Polyvenylchlorid.
In Burgundy the fabric reads confident. If you want to sew quietly, another tone is the better pick. If you work with this group of goods for the first time, sew a test seam on a scrap first. Fabric by the metre is cut in one piece; your ordered length arrives as a single cut. If unsure, order a little more — a later order may come from a different batch.

Care instructions:
Frequently asked questions
Can I combine different fabrics?
Yes, as long as care and stretch match. A firm special beside a soft knit needs a stay tape in the seam, otherwise the join pulls crooked.
Which needle do I need?
One that suits the thickness. On dense qualities one size up from usual, on fine meshes and tulle a fine needle, so no holes remain.
What do I watch for while sewing?
Calm and fixing. Thick or slippery goods shift; clips hold better than pins, and a walking foot helps with several layers. A test seam on a scrap answers stitch length and tension in two minutes.
Is it suitable for children?
For soft toys, blankets and decor yes. For clothing it depends on the quality — anything that scratches or sheds does not belong straight against skin.
