Description
This half-panama weave gives the fabric a slightly grainy surface and makes it tougher than a smooth woven. The fabric comes 140 cm wide and brings 230 g/m² to the scale. Its composition reads 100 % cotton.
Turquoise carries pattern well without covering it — which makes the tone the favourite ground for prints. Its fruit motif makes the fabric summery — for kitchen textiles as much as for children's clothes. Pressing before cutting pays off: a smooth fabric cuts precisely, and on home textiles the measurement counts.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need interfacing?
With decor fabric usually not — it holds shape by itself. For bag bases or storage baskets meant to stand upright, a reinforcement can still make sense.
How do I press decor fabric?
At cotton temperature and slightly damp. Before cutting it pays off especially, since on home textiles the exact measurement decides the result. On coated goods leave the iron aside; smoothing by hand is enough there.
Can I combine it with cotton woven?
Yes, as long as the care matches. Different weights in one seam work; only the wash temperature follows the more delicate part. On cushion covers it pays to sew front and back from the same weight.
How much fabric do curtains take?
As a rule of thumb twice the window width, so folds can form. Add the length plus hems top and bottom. On patterned goods the repeat comes on top.
