The measurements are stated with each article. Because the pieces come ready cut, there is no measuring to do and you know exactly how much area you are getting.

Typical uses are patchwork and quilts, bags, cushions, appliqué, storage baskets and pouches. The pieces are also practical as a companion fabric to a larger cut.

Note that cuts can usually not be reordered. If you need a larger area of one fabric, buying by the metre is the safer choice.

Good to know

How large are the cuts?

That is stated with each article; sizes differ from fabric to fabric. Include seam allowances if you need to reach a particular finished measurement.

Can I reorder a cut?

Usually not reliably, as these are individual pieces. If you need more of one fabric, it is better to buy the quantity at once.

What are cuts particularly good for?

For patchwork, appliqué, bags and test pieces. If you want to get to know a new quality, a cut is a cheaper start than a whole metre.
