Description
This viscose woven falls into soft folds rather than standing away — exactly what separates it from cotton. 100 g/m² at 137 cm wide: calculate your yardage from the width, not from the pattern alone. Material: 100 % viscose.
A fabric in Apricot/Hot Pink/Black brings colour to children's clothes, bags and anything meant to read cheerful. The floral print runs across the whole surface, so no pattern piece comes out empty. For blouses, dresses and wide trousers drape decides — and that is exactly what this fabric brings.
What Viskose Malis Blumen Apricot/Pink/Schwarz is suitable for

Frequently asked questions
How do I finish thin wovens?
Most cleanly with a French seam: the raw edges are enclosed in the seam and nothing shows outside. Alternatively with an overlocker, if the fabric is not too fine.
How do I recognise good drape?
By its behaviour over your hand: a fabric with drape falls into soft folds instead of standing. The softer the drape, the wider the cut may be without looking shapeless.
May it go in the dryer?
Better not. Viscose shrinks noticeably there, and polyester does not need it since it dries fast anyway. Hung up and pressed slightly damp, both look better.
What do I do with offcuts?
Facings, pocket bags, bindings and hair ties. Fluid goods work well even in narrow strips, as long as the edge is enclosed. For neckerchiefs and hair ties an offcut that would otherwise be scrap is plenty.
