One motif placed well turns a plain piece into a favourite — hiding, along its way, whatever no longer looks good beneath. This one is Iron-On Patch, 7 cm wide.
Apply it without steam, pressing firmly over a solid surface; baking paper between protects its face. Let everything cool afterwards, because warm adhesive holds nothing yet.
Across spots stretched heavily, or washed often, a narrow zigzag around its border pays off — stitching holds even once glue gives up. Wash inside out on a gentle cycle; faux leather plus coated cloth never survive iron heat.
What XXL Patch Leo Hi by Jessy Sewing is suitable for
- Children's clothing, because a motif makes any shirt a favourite.
- Bags plus rucksacks wanting something of their own.
- Spots no longer looking good, which may simply disappear.
Frequently asked questions
How do I iron this patch on?
Without steam, pressing firmly over a solid surface. Baking paper, or a thin cloth between, protects its face. Let everything cool before moving anything — while warm, that adhesive holds nothing yet.
Does ironing hold permanently?
Under ordinary wear, yes. Across spots stretched heavily, or washed often, it lasts longer once its border gets edged using a narrow zigzag — which relieves that adhesive.
Which fabrics work?
Anything surviving iron heat: cotton, jersey, sweat, denim. Faux leather, coated cloth plus everything carrying pile suit poorly — there a patch gets stitched rather than pressed.
May that garment be washed?
Yes, inside out, on a gentle cycle. High temperatures plus tumble drying loosen adhesive over time. Having edged its border, worry less — stitching holds once glue gives up.
