Among the cut-aways in the range, Super Strong is the powerful one. It stays in the piece and holds a design in shape for good. One roll of 25 m, 50 cm wide — you cut it to hoop size. At 80 g/m² it stays thin enough for the needle to pass easily.
For badges and crests without a base fabric you layer several sheets and stitch straight onto them. Offcuts serve for small designs; only creased pieces have to go, since creases show in the finished work. If you embroider regularly, keeping one of the common sizes in stock pays off.

Frequently asked questions
Does the stabiliser stay in the garment?
Yes, that is the point. A cut-away gives the design lasting support and is only trimmed around the embroidery. That is why how it feels matters as much as how it holds.
When do I need two layers?
On very dense designs and on work without a base fabric. Two light layers beat one heavy one there, because the fabric over them drapes more naturally.
Can I use up offcuts?
Yes, for small designs. Only creased pieces go in the bin — creases tension unevenly in the hoop and show in the finished design. For test pieces offcuts are the first choice anyway.
May I iron over it?
From the reverse and at moderate heat, yes. Straight onto the embroidery an iron flattens the stitches; a pressing cloth between keeps the design's relief.
