Description

This set brings together 8 spools of Poly Sheen in bright neon tones — the colours rarely bought on their own and then needed after all. Every spool carries 200 m of glossy polyester, and it all arrives together in one box.

Neon colours work hardest on dark ground: what barely shows when stitched in grey or black jumps straight out in these tones. Poly Sheen by Amann Mettler is a glossy polyester embroidery thread; its shimmer arises inside the filament and therefore survives washing.

What Poly Sheen Thread Set Neon Colours, 8 spools of 200 m is suitable for

  • embroidery designs on sportswear and bags
  • labelling that is meant to stand out
  • appliqué on children's clothes

Frequently asked questions

What does the set contain?

Eight spools of Poly Sheen in different neon tones, each holding 200 m of glossy polyester embroidery thread. The selection is fixed and arrives sorted in a box, so the spools stand ready while you stitch.

Can I restock single colours?

The set comes complete only. Individual tones can be topped up from the wider Poly Sheen range wherever the same colour code is stocked — the number on the spool is the reliable detail there.

What are neon colours good for?

Anything meant to be seen: labelling on sports bags, designs on dark clothing, appliqué for children. On pale ground the tones lose part of their effect, simply because the contrast is missing.

Do I need a separate bobbin thread?

Yes. A fine bobbin thread belongs in the case, not this same embroidery thread. Otherwise the reverse builds bulk and a design ripples. Use white bobbin thread under light fabrics and black under dark ones.
