Description
Brushed sweat is raised on the inside and therefore distinctly warmer than French terry — the pick for autumn and winter. 150 cm wide, 265 g/m² — figures that tell you how heavily the fabric falls. Material: 60 % cotton, 5 % elastane and 35 % modal.
The tone Purple/Lilac works especially well on grey and charcoal, where a fine rather than loud contrast appears. The brushed inside sheds at cut edges; finishing them is therefore not an optional step. If unsure, order a little more — a later order may come from a different batch.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to pre-wash?
Yes, especially with brushed goods. Sweat shrinks more than jersey, and on a finished hoodie that cannot be corrected. Wash it the way the piece will be washed later.
Why does the inside shed?
Because fibres lie loose at the cut edge. That settles after finishing and the first washes. If you want none of it, finish the edges straight after cutting.
May sweat go in the dryer?
If the care label allows it. Brushed goods turn softer in a dryer but shrink more. If you plan to tumble dry, do it once before cutting.
Is sweat only a winter fabric?
No. The lighter unbrushed version wears all year — over a shirt on summer evenings, under a jacket in winter. Only the brushed inside makes it a pure winter fabric.
