French terry is the fabric for hoodies, sweat jackets and children's clothes worn all year round. Weight per square metre comes to 245 g/m², width to 150 cm. It is woven from 95 % cotton and 5 % elastane.
In Lilac a piece gains something of its own. The tone is rare enough to notice and calm enough to wear. Its festive motif makes this a seasonal fabric — for decor, gifts and table linen. The fabric works all year: as a light jacket in summer, under a coat in winter.

Frequently asked questions
Is sweat only a winter fabric?
No. The lighter unbrushed version wears all year — over a shirt on summer evenings, under a jacket in winter. Only the brushed inside makes it a pure winter fabric.
Do I have to pre-wash?
Yes, especially with brushed goods. Sweat shrinks more than jersey, and on a finished hoodie that cannot be corrected. Wash it the way the piece will be washed later.
Why does the inside shed?
Because fibres lie loose at the cut edge. That settles after finishing and the first washes. If you want none of it, finish the edges straight after cutting.
May sweat go in the dryer?
If the care label allows it. Brushed goods turn softer in a dryer but shrink more. If you plan to tumble dry, do it once before cutting.
