Paper and film transfer a pattern onto fabric without cutting up the original. Made in the size 82 cm × 57 cm. Supplied as 2 pieces. The material is paper.
Before the first stroke, test on a hidden spot: every fabric takes markings differently. Quilters draw lines and grids first and simply follow them with the machine. What has been marked should be sewn before long; if the cut pieces lie around for weeks, some lines fade by themselves. Prym has made sewing notions in Stolberg for generations. The pack states the size, so buying more later stays easy.

Frequently asked questions
Which fabrics does it suit?
Most wovens and knits. On very absorbent or coated goods every marking behaves differently, so a test on a scrap stays the safest route. On velvet and towelling it is better to mark on the reverse.
What works on dark fabrics?
A light marking — white chalk or a pen with a pale lead. On dark cloth any dark line disappears as soon as the fabric folds.
How should pens be stored?
Lying flat, capped and out of the sun. Pens left open dry out, and a dried tip draws streaks instead of lines. A pen that no longer draws can sometimes be revived on paper.
How fine should the line be?
As fine as possible: a broad line leaves open where exactly to sew. Darts and notches deserve the fine tip, cutting lines manage with the broad one.
