Brushed sweat is raised on the inside and therefore distinctly warmer than French terry — the pick for autumn and winter. The fabric comes 150 cm wide and brings 245 g/m² to the scale. Its composition reads 95 % cotton and 5 % elastane.
Dark Green comes out strongest beside red; that is the complementary contrast, and it always works. The fabric works all year: as a light jacket in summer, under a coat in winter. Fabric by the metre is cut in one piece; your ordered length arrives as a single cut.

Frequently asked questions
Why does the inside shed?
Because fibres lie loose at the cut edge. That settles after finishing and the first washes. If you want none of it, finish the edges straight after cutting.
May sweat go in the dryer?
If the care label allows it. Brushed goods turn softer in a dryer but shrink more. If you plan to tumble dry, do it once before cutting.
Is sweat only a winter fabric?
No. The lighter unbrushed version wears all year — over a shirt on summer evenings, under a jacket in winter. Only the brushed inside makes it a pure winter fabric.
Do I have to pre-wash?
Yes, especially with brushed goods. Sweat shrinks more than jersey, and on a finished hoodie that cannot be corrected. Wash it the way the piece will be washed later.
