Description
Colourful dots in pink, yellow, turquoise and green lie loosely scattered on a white ground. They vary in size, looking dabbed on with a brush, so this pattern stays lively rather than uniform.
The cloth is 70 % cotton with 30 % polyester under a thin coating. At 120 g/m² it stays supple, never standing away like oilcloth. 145 cm wide, by the metre from 0.2 metres. Washing at 30 degrees is allowed; pressing, bleaching, tumble drying are ruled out by its care symbols. For sewing: a longer stitch, no pins outside your seam allowance, a Teflon foot if needed.
What Coated Cotton Colourful Dots White is suitable for
- Storage baskets, because this material wipes clean.
- Bread bags and lunch bags, because crumbs never soak in.
- Bags for children, because those dots read cheerful.
- Changing mats, because marks lift off damp.

Frequently asked questions
How do I sew coated cotton?
With a longer stitch and no pins outside your seam allowance, since punctures stay visible. Clips hold your layers. If it sticks to your presser foot, a Teflon foot or tissue paper over the seam helps.
Is it really wipe clean?
That coating lets liquid bead off as long as it does not stand. For lunch bags or baskets this serves well. Waterproof in a rainwear sense, coated cotton is not.
Do I need to finish the edges?
Its coating holds those yarns together, so this cloth barely frays. On load-bearing seams a finished edge is still tidier, above all on parts handled often.
Can it go in a washing machine?
At 30 degrees yes, but sparingly: every wash stresses that coating. For everyday use, wiping damp is enough. Iron, bleach and tumble dryer are not intended.
