Use a jersey or stretch needle and a stretch stitch or an overlocker. Only guide the fabric, do not pull it, and seams stay flat. Hems work well with a twin needle.

Is the white ground see-through?

At 210 g/m² this jersey is opaque enough for tops, bodysuits and children's trousers. With very light fabrics it is still worth finishing seam allowances neatly so they do not show through.

Should I prewash the jersey?

Yes, cotton shrinks slightly in its first wash. Wash this fabric once at 30 degrees before cutting and let it dry. After that its dimensions stay stable.

How do I care for the print?

Wash inside out at 30 degrees, do not bleach, do not iron and do not tumble dry. Dry flat or on the line. This keeps the white and light blue fresh for a long time.
