Description
This viscose jersey is stretchy and soft at once — the combination that makes summer clothing comfortable. Weight per square metre comes to 205 g/m², width to 145 cm. It is woven from 5 % Elastan and 95 % viscose.
In Petrol the fabric reads matter-of-fact and calm. For everyday clothing that is the least complicated choice. Flowers are the motif that stays in fashion longest; this print brings them at a scale that works on small pieces too. The cut edge of jersey curls. That is no fault but the nature of the goods; you still finish the edge.
What Viscose Jersey Flowers in Petrol is suitable for

Care instructions:
Frequently asked questions
Do I need matching cuffing?
For clean finishes at sleeve, hem and neck, yes. Cuffing is cut shorter than the circumference and sewn on stretched — which makes the finish hug rather than stand away.
May the fabric go in the dryer?
The care label decides. In principle knits shrink more in a dryer than on a line. If you plan to tumble dry, do it once before cutting.
Which stitch do I set?
A stretch stitch or a narrow zigzag, otherwise the seam bursts when stretched. If you have an overlocker, use it — it sews and finishes in one pass and is built for knits.
Which way does the fabric stretch?
Clearly across the web, barely along it. Align your pieces accordingly: whatever wraps the body runs crosswise. Confuse the two and you get a piece that will not move.
