Description
Red, orange and coral flow across a cream ground, with golden veins running through like a polished agate. Warm, refined and very lively.
This French terry is smooth outside and knitted with fine loops inside. At 250 g/m² with 5 % elastane it is substantial, stable and pleasantly stretchy without feeling heavy. The marble design has no fixed direction or figures, so pattern pieces can be laid freely and leftovers used well. Its 145 cm of width fits adult sizes comfortably.
We also carry this same design as outdoor fabric – ideal for a matching bag and jumper.
What French Terry Flowing Bloom Marmor Gold/Rot by Swafing von Sarah Mariam is suitable for
- Sweaters, hoodies and cardigans for adults.
- Sweat dresses and skirts with a bold pattern.
- Companion pieces next to plain sweat in red, cream or gold.

Frequently asked questions
How do I sew French terry?
With an overlocker or elastic stitch and a jersey needle, so seams stretch along. Topstitch hems and cuffs with a twin needle or coverstitch. Guide the fabric while sewing rather than pulling.
Is the pattern directional?
No, the marble fields run freely without a top or bottom. So pieces can be rotated to save fabric. If you want to place large colour areas on purpose, lay the pattern out before cutting.
How do I care for this fabric?
Wash inside out at 30 degrees, do not bleach and do not tumble dry. Dry flat and, if needed, iron on a low setting from the reverse. That keeps print and loops looking good.
Which cuffs go with it?
Plain cuffing in red, cream or a warm gold shade picks up colours from the marble. Cut cuffs roughly ten per cent shorter than the opening.
