Terry absorbs moisture like no other fabric — which is why it sits in towels, bathrobes and bibs. At 350 g/m² and 152 cm wide the fabric suits the usual paper patterns. It is made from 90 % cotton and 10 % polyester.
With Red you get depth. Even small areas read stronger in it than their size suggests. While sewing it helps to work slowly and to hold layers with clips rather than pins. If unsure, order a little more — a later order may come from a different batch.

Frequently asked questions
Is it suitable for children?
For soft toys, blankets and decor yes. For clothing it depends on the quality — anything that scratches or sheds does not belong straight against skin.
Can I combine different fabrics?
Yes, as long as care and stretch match. A firm special beside a soft knit needs a stay tape in the seam, otherwise the join pulls crooked.
Which needle do I need?
One that suits the thickness. On dense qualities one size up from usual, on fine meshes and tulle a fine needle, so no holes remain.
What do I watch for while sewing?
Calm and fixing. Thick or slippery goods shift; clips hold better than pins, and a walking foot helps with several layers. A test seam on a scrap answers stitch length and tension in two minutes.
