Description

Decor fabric is heavier than dress fabric and therefore right where something should stand or fall rather than cling. The fabric comes 140 cm wide and brings 300 g/m² to the scale. Its composition reads 100 % polyester.

Natural White is the colour for anything meant to look airy. In summer a pale fabric reads noticeably lighter than a dark one. Flowers are the motif that stays in fashion longest; this print brings them at a scale that works on small pieces too. For cushion covers a zip in the bottom seam beats buttons — it keeps the surface calm.

What Dekodruck Boho Velvet Samt Blüten, Zweige Naturweiß by Bienvenido von Swafing is suitable for

Care instructions:

Frequently asked questions

Can I wash it?

Yes, within its care label. For cushion covers and table linen pre-washing pays off, since the finished piece goes into the machine later and otherwise no longer fits after the first wash.

Which needle do I need?

A universal needle in a medium to heavy size. On dense goods and several layers go one size up, otherwise the needle snaps at a corner.

How do I finish the edges?

With zigzag or an overlocker, as with any woven. On visible seams in home textiles a clean flat-felled seam or a turned hem pays off as well.

What do I do with offcuts?

Coasters, bread baskets, storage pots and bags. Because the fabric holds shape, even small pieces meant to stand work well. Narrow strips become hanging loops, wider ones pockets for the reverse.
