Description

Adhesive patches close tears in jackets, tents and rainwear without a single stitch. The size comes to 14 cm × 6.5 cm. Inside the pack are 2 pieces. Produced from 100 % polyamide.

For quick repairs on jackets, tents and rainwear it holds until a seam follows — or without any seam at all. After application the bond needs a little time before it is loaded — patience replaces every trick here. The spot must be clean, dry and free of grease — no adhesive layer holds on dusty fabric. These notions fit any sewing drawer and come to hand quickly.

What Prym adhesive patch 2 pieces 6,5 x 14 cm in Beige is suitable for

  • Inserting zips and piping
  • Repairs to outdoor clothing
  • Working with coated goods

Frequently asked questions

Can I sew over it?

Yes, but residue collects on the needle. Sewing just beside the bonded spot means less cleaning and a more even stitch. A drop of machine oil on a cloth takes residue off the needle.

Can it be removed again?

Only with difficulty and rarely without a trace. So align before pressing: as long as nothing is pressed, much can still be shifted. Heat softens some bonds again, though rarely without any trace.

Which fabrics does it suit?

Wovens and knits, leather and coated fabrics. Very absorbent goods take up more, so apply sparingly there and allow longer drying. On velvet and fleece, keep the application to the reverse side.

How much should I apply?

As little as possible: a thin coat holds just as well and dries faster. Too much is squeezed out at the edges and stiffens the fabric.
