Small burgers, paper cones of fries and ice cream cones lie on a pale blue striped ground. Those motifs are drawn friendly and kept small, so the stripe carries the surface while motifs read as a scatter.
A firm decorator cloth in half-panama at 205 g/m², 140 cm wide, made from 90 % cotton with 10 % polyester. Its surface is matt and lightly textured, so it never glares and a print stays readable. Sold from 0.2 metres. Wash at 30 degrees; pressing, bleaching and tumble drying are out. Cushion covers, bags and table linen are its obvious uses.

Frequently asked questions
Will it shrink?
Cotton pulls together slightly in a first wash. On cushion covers you notice it, because your inner cushion then sits too large. Pre-washing solves that before it arises.
What size do I cut a cushion cover?
Take your inner cushion's measurements plus seam allowance but no extra width — a slightly snug cover sits plumper without wrinkling. At this fabric width, two covers come out of one length side by side.
Which needle, which stitch?
A universal needle in a medium gauge plus a straight stitch. Finish your cut edges with zigzag or overlock, or woven cloth frays — above all on parts handled often.
Do I need to match the repeat?
On large pieces it is worth a look: where two widths meet, motifs should line up. Allow one extra repeat length for that, or your fabric runs short at the end.
