Jute is coarsely woven, firm and unmistakably rustic — the fabric for decor with a natural character. At 135 cm wide its weight per square metre is 288 g/m². It is woven from 100 % jute.
Dark Brown stands warm and deep. In autumn the tone reads more coherent than any cool one. Pressing before cutting pays off: a smooth fabric cuts precisely, and on home textiles the measurement counts. Fabric by the metre is cut in one piece; your ordered length arrives as a single cut. If unsure, order a little more — a later order may come from a different batch.

Can I combine it with cotton woven?
Yes, as long as the care matches. Different weights in one seam work; only the wash temperature follows the more delicate part. On cushion covers it pays to sew front and back from the same weight.
How much fabric do curtains take?
As a rule of thumb twice the window width, so folds can form. Add the length plus hems top and bottom. On patterned goods the repeat comes on top.
Do I need interfacing?
With decor fabric usually not — it holds shape by itself. For bag bases or storage baskets meant to stand upright, a reinforcement can still make sense.
How do I press decor fabric?
At cotton temperature and slightly damp. Before cutting it pays off especially, since on home textiles the exact measurement decides the result. On coated goods leave the iron aside; smoothing by hand is enough there.
