Polyester woven is stable, crease-resistant and easy to care for — practical for anything washed often. 180 g/m² at 145 cm wide: calculate your yardage from the width, not from the pattern alone. Material: 97 % polyester and 3 % viscose.
A fabric in Lilac suits projects that should not look interchangeable. For blouses, dresses and wide trousers drape decides — and that is exactly what this fabric brings. If unsure, order a little more — a later order may come from a different batch. A sample answers more questions about handle and drape than any description.

Frequently asked questions
How do I finish thin wovens?
Most cleanly with a French seam: the raw edges are enclosed in the seam and nothing shows outside. Alternatively with an overlocker, if the fabric is not too fine.
How do I recognise good drape?
By its behaviour over your hand: a fabric with drape falls into soft folds instead of standing. The softer the drape, the wider the cut may be without looking shapeless.
May it go in the dryer?
Better not. Viscose shrinks noticeably there, and polyester does not need it since it dries fast anyway. Hung up and pressed slightly damp, both look better.
What do I do with offcuts?
Facings, pocket bags, bindings and hair ties. Fluid goods work well even in narrow strips, as long as the edge is enclosed. For neckerchiefs and hair ties an offcut that would otherwise be scrap is plenty.
