Large white dots on deep navy — a print known from summer dresses and blouses that never quite goes out of fashion. The contrast is crisp, every dot sits clearly against its ground, and because they are spaced in a regular offset, matching them up when cutting is straightforward.
The viscose underneath is smooth and fluid. It falls softly rather than standing away, settles into folds, and feels cool against skin. At 110 g/m² it carries enough weight to hang quietly while staying light. A width of 142 cm lets even a full skirt come out of it without much waste.
Wash at 30 degrees, press at low heat. Washing once before cutting pays off, so measurements still hold after sewing.

Frequently asked questions
How do I wash this fabric?
At 30 degrees in the machine, no bleach, no fabric softener. Keep it out of the tumble dryer; dry it flat or hanging instead. Press at low heat so that the surface stays smooth and the print keeps its colour.
Is the fabric see-through?
At 110 g/m² it is light but it does not show through, and its dark ground covers well. In a close-fitting dress or short skirt, lining is still pleasant, because viscose otherwise likes to cling to skin.
How do I match the dots when cutting?
The dots sit in a regular offset, so it pays to place front and back pieces at the same point in the pattern. Line up rows of dots along your side seams, then they meet cleanly once sewn and the print runs right around.
Which needle and which stitch?
A universal needle in medium size plus a straight stitch will do. Finish raw edges by zigzag or overlock, because woven viscose frays quite readily. Thread tension and presser foot need no special setting at all.
