Hardware decides whether a strap stays adjustable, or sits fixed. This one is Cord Stopper in Dark Blue, 20 x 20 mm in size.
Its clearance should measure exactly what your webbing measures. Larger, everything slides about, twisting as it goes; smaller, webbing refuses every adjustment.
Fix it by passing webbing through, folding back, stitching a rectangle crossed through. One line across never suffices — under load whatever gives way sits at that fixing. Stored dry, its surface stays handsome long; after rain, drying everything pays off.
What Kordelstopper mit 2 Löchern 20x20mm Dunkelblau is suitable for

Frequently asked questions
Which size suits my webbing?
That clearance should measure exactly what your webbing measures. Larger, everything slides about, twisting; smaller, webbing refuses adjustment, dragging its seam out of shape.
How do I fix hardware securely?
Pass webbing through, fold it back, stitching a rectangle crossed through. One single line across never suffices — under load whatever gives way sits at that fixing, never within webbing, never within metal.
Does its finish dull over time?
Nickel plated plus lacquered surfaces stay handsome long, provided storage keeps dry. Hardware left constantly wet across outdoor bags may go matt instead — drying everything after rain helps.
What is this hardware for?
Bags plus rucksacks wanting adjustable straps, detachable belts, alongside loops carrying something. Settle your webbing width first, choosing matching parts afterwards.
