Description
A hook and loop fastening always needs two halves: the hook side, which feels slightly rough, and the soft loop side. Both come together here in equal length and the same colour Khaki. The tape is 20 mm wide and made from 100 % polyamide. It is meant for sewing rather than sticking, which is why it keeps holding even when opened often. Use it on bag flaps, jackets, cushion covers and wherever a closure should work without a button or a zip. Sold by the metre from 0,2 metres, so you take exactly what the closure needs.

What is included in the set?
Both halves: the hook side with its small barbs and the soft loop side. They come in equal length and the same colour, so there is nothing to buy separately.
Sew it or glue it?
This tape is made for sewing. Stitch close to the edge all the way round, ideally with a sturdy thread. Glue rarely lasts on hook and loop, because every opening pulls hard and the adhesive gives way.
Does it still hold after many openings?
Polyamide tape is built for many cycles. What clogs the hooks over time is lint and hair caught in the loops. A needle or a fine brush pulls that out again easily enough.
Can I wash the tape?
Yes. Close the fastening before washing, then the hook side will not catch fibres from other textiles. Washed open, the tape clogs up and grips noticeably less well afterwards.
