A hook and loop closure opens single handed, which makes it valuable wherever buttons, or zips, would prove awkward. This one is Hook And Loop Tape in Light Blue, 20 mm wide, made from 100 % polyamide.
Topstitch right around close along its border, taking a strong needle plus a longer stitch — this tape stays hard, so fine needles break inside. Its soft loop face belongs wherever skin, or clothing, might touch.
Wash everything closed. Left open, its hook face travels through a whole drum, pulling threads from whatever it meets. While its hook face stays clean, that closure keeps gripping; lint combs out using a needle.
What Klettband Breite 20mm Hellblau is suitable for
- Bag flaps plus jacket pockets meant to open quickly.
- Cushion covers, where a closure may stay invisible.
- Children's clothing, because hook tape opens single handed.
Frequently asked questions
How is hook and loop tape sewn on?
Topstitch right around close along its border, using a strong needle plus a longer stitch. This tape stays hard, so fine needles break inside it. Put its soft loop side wherever skin, or clothing, might touch.
Which side goes where?
Its rough hook face onto whatever rarely gets touched, its soft loop face outward, or upward. No hooks then sit exposed, catching inside jumpers, hair, or bag linings.
Does it keep holding after repeated use?
Yes, provided its hook face stays clean. Lint, threads plus hair settle inside over time, robbing that closure of grip — a needle, or an old toothbrush, combs everything out.
May it be washed?
Yes, ideally closed. Left open, its hook face travels through a whole drum, taking along whatever it meets — over delicate cloth that leaves pulls which never come back.
