Description
The places where lint gathers are exactly those a brush and cloth cannot reach: the hook area, the needle bar, the thread cutter. Air Duster solves that with compressed air — its narrow nozzle reaches where nothing else does, without touching delicate small parts. The can holds 400 ml.
The spray is non-toxic, odourless and non-flammable, and it is guaranteed oil-free and free of condensate — both matter so nothing stays in the hook area to soil your thread later. The blowing tube for precise work sits in a holder on the lid. The can cannot be used overhead.
What Gunold Air Duster Compressed Air Spray, 400 ml is suitable for
- cleaning the hook area and needle bar
- blowing lint out of the thread cutter
- dusting overlock and coverstitch machines
Frequently asked questions
How often should I blow out the machine?
After every larger project, and at the latest once lint gathers visibly in the hook area. Working mostly with cotton thread you will need it more often than someone sewing polyester — cotton sheds considerably more.
Can I use the can overhead?
No, overhead use is not possible. The can has to stay upright, otherwise propellant escapes instead of air. For awkward spots it is better to turn the machine than the can.
Does the spray harm delicate parts?
No. It is oil-free, free of condensate and leaves no residue. That is exactly why it also suits electronics, keyboards and measuring instruments rather than only your sewing machine.
Does the spray replace servicing?
No. It removes dust and lint, but oiling and adjusting remain a service job. Blowing out regularly does noticeably lengthen the intervals between visits to the workshop.
