Names on textiles only last if they are made for the wash — which is what these notions are for. Sold as a single item. Produced from 100 % cotton.
Before the first stroke, test on a hidden spot: every fabric takes markings differently. When transferring from pattern to fabric, the marking decides whether the pieces will match later. Markings stay visible as long as they are needed and then go with water, an iron or a brush. Prym has made sewing notions in Stolberg for generations. The pack states the size, so buying more later stays easy.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a line stay visible?
Long enough for cutting and sewing, but not forever. If cut pieces lie around for weeks, redraw shortly before sewing. Light and warmth speed up fading, so keep pieces away from the window.
May I iron over a marking?
Better not while it is still needed: heat can fix some lines and erase others at once. Sew first, press afterwards is the safe order.
How should pens be stored?
Lying flat, capped and out of the sun. Pens left open dry out, and a dried tip draws streaks instead of lines. A pen that no longer draws can sometimes be revived on paper.
How fine should the line be?
As fine as possible: a broad line leaves open where exactly to sew. Darts and notches deserve the fine tip, cutting lines manage with the broad one.
