Description
Laundry marking makes sure clothing finds its way back from a care home, a nursery or a trip. The size comes to 11 mm × 3 m. Inside the pack are 3 m. Made from 100 % cotton.
For alterations to finished clothes a line on the fabric shows where to shorten and where to let out. Before the first stroke, test on a hidden spot: every fabric takes markings differently. Markings stay visible as long as they are needed and then go with water, an iron or a brush. Prym has made sewing notions in Stolberg for generations.

Does the marking come off again?
Depending on the type with water, with heat or by brushing out. The pack says which applies; a test on a hidden spot shows it within a minute on your own fabric.
What works on dark fabrics?
A light marking — white chalk or a pen with a pale lead. On dark cloth any dark line disappears as soon as the fabric folds.
How long does a line stay visible?
Long enough for cutting and sewing, but not forever. If cut pieces lie around for weeks, redraw shortly before sewing. Light and warmth speed up fading, so keep pieces away from the window.
How fine should the line be?
As fine as possible: a broad line leaves open where exactly to sew. Darts and notches deserve the fine tip, cutting lines manage with the broad one.
