Description

At the sewing station a short route to the iron counts: what stands beside the machine gets used. It measures 29 cm × 18.5 cm × 15 cm. Sold as a single item. The colour is White.

Pressing happens between steps, not at the end: every seam laid flat before the next one saves reworking later. A pressing cloth protects sensitive surfaces and prevents shine on dark fabrics. Standing a hot appliance on a heat-resistant rest keeps the sewing table usable and risks no scorch mark. The pack states the size, so buying more later stays easy.

What Prym Mini ironing aid in White is suitable for

  • Pressing seams flat
  • Shaping corners and edges
  • Patchwork and small pieces

Frequently asked questions

What temperature is right?

The lowest one that removes the crease. When in doubt start cool and work up; starting the other way, the damage shows only when it can no longer be undone.

May I press coated fabrics?

Not directly. A sheet of baking paper between iron and fabric protects the coating, and often smoothing by hand is quite enough. A test on a scrap shows within a minute what the surface tolerates.

Where does a hot iron go?

On a heat-resistant rest, not on the sewing table. A silicone rest takes the heat and can simply be put aside once cool. Without a rest, at least stand the iron on a tile.

Do I need steam?

It helps with stubborn creases but hinders patchwork: moisture can distort small pieces. Dry heat and pressure usually suffice there. On wool and linen, by contrast, steam is often the only route to a smooth surface.
