Description
Alabaster white with a handle in mint and sage leaf: this edition of the VARIO Creative Tool is a tool you happily leave out on your sewing table.
Use it to attach press fasteners to baby clothes, decorate jeans with rivets, or punch holes for a hoodie cord and finish them with eyelets. The handle works in three levels and sits firmly in your hand thanks to its soft-touch grip. An adjusting screw lets you fine-tune the power transmission. Lengthwise and crosswise measurements help with exact positioning, while plastic feet keep it stable.
Punching tools in 2.5, 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 mm are included. The tool fits every tool set and part from the Prym non-sew range. Size: 193 × 59 × 125 mm.
What Prym VARIO Creative Tool, mint/sage leaf edition is suitable for
- Attaching press fasteners to baby clothes, jackets and bags

- Decorating jeans and bags with rivets
- A comfortable alternative to VARIO pliers for longer runs
Frequently asked questions
Which hole sizes are included?
The box contains punching tools in 2.5, 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 mm. They let you punch holes for eyelets, rivets and cords right in the tool, with no hammer and no extra base.
Will my existing Prym tool sets fit?
Yes. The VARIO Creative Tool works with all existing tool sets and parts from the Prym non-sew range. Anyone who already owns inserts for VARIO pliers can keep using them here.
How much force do I need?
Far less than with pliers. The handle gears down in three levels, and the adjusting screw limits power transmission. Your hand stays relaxed even when setting many press fasteners in a row.
Does the tool need fixing to a table?
No, it stands securely on its plastic feet. If you work a lot and with momentum, you can also clamp it firmly to your table top using the separately available Prym table clamp.
