Fleece is raised on both sides, light and warms immediately. It does not fray and needs no edge finishing. The fabric is 152 cm wide and weighs 222 g/m². It is made from 100 % polyester.
Pacific reads natural rather than technical. Beside wood, linen and earth shades the tone looks self-evident. Coated and laminated fabrics are not ironed — the coating does not take the heat. Before cutting, a look at the care symbols on the article pays off. Fabric by the metre is cut in one piece; your ordered length arrives as a single cut.

May I iron the fabric?
Better not. Coatings and laminates do not take the heat and lift or ripple. If you must: from the reverse, at low temperature and with a pressing cloth between.
How do I wash functional fabrics?
Cool, without softener and without a dryer. Softener coats the fibres and disables water repellency — the commonest reason a jacket suddenly soaks through. A finish can be revived later with a spray or a special detergent.
Which needle do I take?
A microtex or jeans needle, depending on thickness. More important than the type is that it is sharp: a blunt needle pushes the coating aside instead of piercing it.
Does it suit children's clothes?
Very well, especially for muddy trousers, rain jackets and outdoor gear. Since the goods barely shed and wipe clean, they survive a day at nursery.
