Premium Anti Pilling Fleece

The premium quality is made more densely than ordinary anti pilling fleece. It keeps you just as warm but stays smoother on the surface and loses hardly any body even after many washes.

The difference lies in fibre density. The denser the pile, the fewer fibres come loose and felt into bobbles. You notice it most where the fabric rubs – at sleeves, under rucksack straps and at the hem.

For jackets, gilets, hoodies and blankets that is the decisive point, because these pieces are worn often and washed often. A fleece that looks new after ten washes keeps the design looking good for longer.

Handle the fabric like any fleece: universal needle, longer stitch, no edge finishing needed. Wash without fabric softener and dry in the air, which preserves the insulating performance.

Frequently asked questions

What separates premium from ordinary anti pilling fleece?

The density of the pile. Premium fabric is made more densely, so fewer fibres come loose. It stays smooth longer and keeps its body, but also uses more material.

Is the difference worth it for blankets?

If the blanket is used daily and washed often, yes. For a blanket that only occasionally lies on the sofa, ordinary anti pilling fleece is entirely sufficient.

Can I tumble dry fleece?

Better not on a high setting. Heat fuses the polyester fibres, the pile turns hard and the warmth drops. Fleece dries very quickly in the air anyway.
