This woven cotton stays tightly made, holding its shape even under pulling. Its handle stays dry, smooth.
This one measures 132 cm across, weighing 185 g/m²; its composition reads 55 % linen plus 45 % viscose. Wash it once before cutting.
Oliv/beige pairs readily alongside plain shades; anyone wanting contrast sets it beside something stronger. Sold by metre, so you cut whatever your project takes — leftovers still serve bags, appliqué plus small pouches.
What Leinen Viskose Druck Kreise is suitable for
- Clothing with a clear line, because this fabric never gives.
- Bags plus home textiles, since woven cotton takes handling.
- Anything meant to keep its measurements.
Frequently asked questions
Should I pre-wash?
Yes. Cotton draws up during its first wash, by several percent depending on quality. Meeting that after sewing leaves a garment that no longer fits; beforehand it costs only fabric.
How do I stop edges fraying?
By finishing them: overlocker, zigzag, or pinking shears. Woven cotton frays along its threads, and whatever starts at a seam allowance travels closer to that seam with every wash.
Which needle suits it?
A medium universal needle serves most cottons. Densely woven qualities deserve going one size up, otherwise small puncture marks stay visible while your seam draws together.
How much fabric will I need?
That follows your pattern rather than your fabric. Roughly: a shirt wants about your own body length, a dress twice that. Directional prints deserve a more generous allowance.
