Plastic snap fasteners in strong colours, meant for clothes that go into the wash often. It measures Ø 12.4 mm. The pack holds 30 pieces. The material is polyoxymethylene.
Snap fasteners belong wherever a seam should open and close again: at a cuff, a hood, a bib or a wrap jacket. Marking the position with chalk beforehand means hitting it exactly and unpicking nothing afterwards. They are set from both sides of the fabric; only then does the fastening sit tight. A test on a scrap shows whether the layer holds.

A baby jacket needs only a few, a long placket needs considerably more. Count one extra so that a test on a scrap is covered.
