Prym's Color Snaps are plastic snap fasteners set without needle or thread. Sold as 72 pieces. Made from polyoxymethylene.
They are set from both sides of the fabric; only then does the fastening sit tight. A test on a scrap shows whether the layer holds. For babywear, swaddle blankets and play mats, snap fasteners answer faster than a buttonhole or a zip. Before setting, look at the spot: two layers plus interfacing hold better than one single layer of thin cloth. Prym has made sewing notions in Stolberg for generations.
