A snap fastener closes quicker than any button, wanting no buttonhole — which is why these sit across babywear, jackets, bag flaps. This one is Snap Fasteners in Yellow, made from 100 % plastik.
Fit it using matching pliers, or a setting tool; hand pressure never seats everything securely. Tool plus size must agree, otherwise your fastener sits crooked.
Across jersey, or thin wovens, reinforcement belongs behind — a piece of interfacing, or a doubled strip, spreads that pull. Mark its position beforehand, practising over scrap: removal always leaves a hole.
What Snaps Druckknöpfe Größe 12mm Grün-Gelb (25 Stk) is suitable for
- Babywear, because a fastener opens single handed.
- Jackets plus waistcoats, where a button placket proves awkward.
- Bag flaps alongside pouches meant to close quickly.
Frequently asked questions
What do I need to fit these?
Matching pliers, or a setting tool — hand pressure never sets snap fasteners securely. Tool plus fastener size must agree, otherwise everything seats crooked, working loose again.
Does it hold inside thin cloth?
Only alongside reinforcement. Across jersey, or thin wovens, it eventually tears out. A piece of interfacing, or a doubled strip behind, spreads that pull across more surface.
May a fastener be removed again?
Using a removal tool, yes, though rarely without trace — its hole remains. So mark your position beforehand, practising over scrap, before any fastener sits inside good cloth.
What suits snap fasteners?
Babywear, jackets plus bags wanting speed: one fastener opens single handed, needing no buttonhole. They also serve spots far too narrow carrying a button placket.
