Without pinning, the very pieces that should match shift while sewing. Supplied as 36 pieces. Produced from steel.
Cutting the thread short and pulling it smooth threads faster than a frayed end ever will. For repairs away from home, one needle, a thread and five quiet minutes are often enough. Fine cloth asks for a fine needle, firm cloth for a strong one — true for hand sewing as much as for the machine. These notions fit any sewing drawer and come to hand quickly. Prym has made sewing notions in Stolberg for generations.
What Prym Sicherheitsnadeln, Stahl 085170 is suitable for

Frequently asked questions
Which size should I pick?
The fine one for cotton and silk, the strong one for denim and coat fabric. An assortment in the box takes the decision away, because the right size always lies alongside.
What do I need for jersey?
A needle with a rounded point that slides between the loops instead of piercing them. An ordinary point creates small ladders that show up later.
How do I thread more easily?
Cut the thread smooth, hold it against a pale background and bring the needle to the thread rather than the other way round. A threader takes over on tired evenings.
How should needles be kept?
In a wallet, a case or on a cushion — sorted, and out of reach of children. Loose needles in a drawer are usually found with a fingertip.
