Sulky Felty 25 cm × 3 m in Grey Melange

Felty is dense enough to embroider and soft enough to drape — the mixture that matters in an embroidery felt. The web measures 25 cm across; the roll holds 3 m. The stated weight per square metre is 210 g/m².

Cut with sharp scissors or a rotary cutter; blunt blades drag fibres out of the surface. The felt stays colourfast through frequent washing; the garment it sits on sets the limit. Store it dry, flat and without creases. It ships singly, so you can restock exactly what you need.

Sewing tips

• Der Filz franst nicht, die Kante braucht also keine Versäuberung.
• Zum Besticken ein Stickvlies unterlegen, sonst zieht die Stichdichte den Filz zusammen.
• Waschbar bei 30 °C — Applikationen halten damit auch an Kleidung, die regelmäßig gewaschen wird.
• Mit einer scharfen Schere oder dem Rollschneider zuschneiden; stumpfe Klingen ziehen Fasern.
• Für Aufnäher den Filz mit Aufbügelvlies hinterlegen, dann bleibt die Form auch nach dem Aufbügeln erhalten.
