Description

Orange 424 is a warm, saturated orange with a hint of red – cheerful in children's clothing without tipping into neon. The solid surface shows the fine loop structure of the jersey, which catches the light, so the colour reads a little deeper or lighter depending on how the fabric folds.

At 220 gsm, Vanessa sits in the medium-weight range: firm enough to stay opaque, yet soft to the touch. The 6% elastane gives the knit clear crosswise stretch and helps cuffs and knees keep their shape. The fabric drapes softly and follows the body rather than standing away from it.

The range is colour-matched with Maike (French terry) and Eike (brushed sweat) under the same colour code.

At 220 gsm, Vanessa is a medium-weight jersey and generally opaque enough for dresses and skirts. Very pale shades are worth holding up to the light – Orange 424 is a deep, well-covering tone.

How much does the fabric shrink in the wash?

Residual shrinkage is 5 percent. Wash the fabric once before cutting, using the same care the finished garment will get later, so your measurements still match after the first laundry cycle.

How should the fabric be cared for?

Wash at 30 degrees, iron on a low setting, do not bleach and do not tumble dry. This keeps the colour saturated and preserves the elasticity of the jersey over many washes.
