Swafing Vanessa HW24/25 Cotton Jersey Plain Aubergine 648

Aubergine 648 is a deep, dark violet with a warm undertone – not a plain lilac, but a muted, rich shade reminiscent of ripe eggplant. Against the skin the jersey feels pleasantly soft, with a smooth, even surface that isn't glossy.

At 220 g/m² the fabric has a medium weight: enough substance to drape cleanly, yet still supple enough for bodysuits and fitted patterns. The 5% elastane content gives good recovery, so cuffs and neckbands keep their shape.

Aubergine reads as calm and easy to combine without being loud. It works equally well for simple basic shirts and for dresses, where the density keeps the fabric opaque. The 5% residual shrinkage should be accounted for by washing before cutting.
