Mint 261 is a light, slightly cool green with a soft grey undertone – fresh enough for summer tees and calm enough to sit well next to darker shades. On the smooth jersey surface the colour reads evenly and without sheen.

At 220 gsm, Vanessa is a medium-weight jersey: firm enough that nothing shows through, yet soft to the touch. The 5% elastane gives noticeable crosswise stretch and helps elbows and knees spring back into shape after wear. The drape is soft rather than fluid, so seams and cuffs keep a clean line.

The 155 cm width leaves room when laying out pattern pieces, and the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification makes it a sensible choice for garments worn next to the skin.

How much does the fabric shrink?

Residual shrinkage is 5 percent. Wash the fabric at 30 degrees before cutting so your finished garment still fits after the first trip through the machine.

How should I care for this fabric?

Wash at 30 degrees, iron on a low setting, do not bleach and do not tumble dry. That keeps the colour and the stretch of the cotton-elastane blend intact over many washes.
