Description
Kiwigrün 602 is a fresh green with a hint of yellow, much like ripe kiwi: bright enough to carry a whole garment, calm enough for a full dress. In sunlight it looks lively, in indoor light a little deeper and softer.
Made from 95% cotton and 5% elastane, the jersey feels soft and smooth, with an even face side and a slightly rougher reverse. At 220 g/m² it sits in the medium-weight range: it drapes softly along the body without clinging and is opaque enough for dresses and skirts. The elastane gives crosswise stretch and helps necklines and knees keep their shape.
The shade matches the other qualities carrying colour code 602, so top and jacket stay in exactly the same tone.

At 220 g/m², Vanessa is a medium-weight jersey and Kiwigrün 602 covers well. For dresses, skirts and shirts the opacity is sufficient without an extra lining.
How much does the fabric stretch?
Thanks to 5% elastane the jersey stretches mainly across the width and springs back. That makes cuff areas, necklines and close-fitting patterns easy to sew.
Should I prewash the fabric?
Yes, washing before cutting is recommended. Residual shrinkage is 5%, so prewashing keeps your finished garment true to size after the first laundry cycle.
How do I care for this jersey?
Wash at 30 °C, iron on a low setting, do not bleach and do not tumble dry. This keeps the colour and the elasticity intact over many washes.
